The Women’s Resource Center offers three different levels of Yoga:

Power Yoga – Tuesday from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm – A vigorous workout with Kathy Penkwitz and not recommended for beginners.

Beginners Yoga – Wednesdays from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm with Larry Jennings – a very relaxed class where everyone is welcome. Learn the basics of breath, stretch, flow and alignment. Strengthen your body and calm your mind. If you think you are not flexible enough, thin enough, young enough, agile enough… then this class is for you!

Intermediate Yoga – Saturdays from 9:00 am to 10:15 am with Terri Davenport. Build core strength with a powerful vinyasa flow that pays special attention to alignment. Strengthen the body and quiet the mind, let this class be a blissful start to your weekend.

Open classes $8 per class, $5 for members available to book and pay online in our schedule.

Regular Zumba – Tuesday evening 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Zumba Gold – Friday morning 9:30 am to 10:30 am

Join Grisel McCain, Certified Zumba Instructor,  and move to the beat of this high tempo music. Zumba Gold provides movement and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle.

Open classes $8 per class, $5 for members.

If you are new to town or just looking for some like minded friends to join you in social activities, the Circle of Friends provides informal social opportunities to connect with other women in the community. The group meets up for events such as the theatre, movies, dinners, service projects and beach walks.
