NEED A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW? WE HAVE COUNSELING FOR THAT…

The Women’s Resource Center provides quality, affordable Mental Health Counseling for situational depression. We provide individual sessions with a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Each session is $40 with a sliding fee scale based on income guidelines.

Latinas NEED A CULTURAL CONNECTION? WE HAVE A GROUP FOR THAT…

The Women’s Resource Center’s weekly Latina Empowerment Group’s mission is to remove barriers to progress to the Latinos in Manatee County through the celebration of culture, education and unification. One of our initiatives is to develop a Latina Mother and Daughter program with the Girl Scouts as well as bring bilingual programming to the women and families of our community. Facilitated by Maria Zavala, this group has been enormously popular and served over 313 women last year.
