The WRC is THE place in Manatee County for women to discover their strengths, build their confidence and find their path to success.

WRC is often the first stop or call people make when they are facing a new challenge, dealing with transition, feeling overwhelmed, or just needing information. Through both phone calls and one-on-one consultations, WRC's staff and volunteers connect women with a program at the Center or a community resource. We try to provide women with a 'roadmap' so they can help themselves overcome current obstacles and move toward a more optimistic future. This year, the WRC will provide over 4,000 hours of programming; provide more than 2,000 referrals to dozens of local resources and have one on one conversation with over 1,500 women who walk in our doors looking for help.
